Originally built in 1902, the building was completely
remodeled in 1979 and renovated in 2000. Stratfield
Apartments has two distinct wings. The Main Street wing,
which has storefront commercial space, includes a convenience
store and deli. The commercial space located in the
Chapel Street wing houses a restaurant and an adult day care
center.
The Chapel Street wing was originally a hotel. The
original lobby was remodeled into community spaces for the use
of the residents. The community space consists of a game
room, TV room, laundry facility and, for approved tenant
functions, there is a community dining room.
